Job title: EHS Specialist
About the Role As an EHS Specialist, you’ll be part of our Montpelier team on-site. You’ll contribute to the development and execution of EHS site-specific programs and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the development and execution of EHS site-specific programs.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Support and maintain programs such as Confined Space, Hazard Communication, Waste Management, Stormwater, Ergonomics, and Emergency Response.
- Facilitate EHS training for new hires and all employees to ensure understanding of policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strong technical and practical EHS support in day-to-day operations.
- Perform regular EHS inspections (independently and with stakeholders) to verify compliance and identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Experience developing and implementing site-specific EHS programs and policies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to confined spaces, hazard communication, waste management, stormwater, ergonomics, and emergency response.
- Ability to facilitate EHS training and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong technical and practical EHS problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience conducting regular EHS inspections and driving corrective actions.
