About this role
As an EHS Specialist, you will translate FrieslandCampina's global EHS framework into practical applications and strategies across our North American operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Program Management: Manage EHS programs and protocols in alignment with local U.S. laws and regulations.

Compliance Management: Assess and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation, as well as certification standards.

Risk Mitigation: Identify and evaluate hazards/risks, and educate others on changes/new regulations.

Documentation Coordination: Manage EHS programs/systems, identifying hazards/risks, and implementing corrective solutions.

Communicate policies and solutions in an engaging manner, continually developing knowledge and insights into EHS matters.

Proactively search for opportunities to enhance EHS compliance and contribute to the overall safety culture.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health/Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in Dairy, Food, Ingredients, or Pharma.

Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of unit operations (filtration/drying/evaporating), GMPs, Project Management, Waste Water, Clean Air Act, OSHA, Chemicals, and solid waste.

Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
