Job title: EHS Site Leader/RSPP (Manufacturing Plant)
About the Role The EHS Site Leader/RSPP will lead all EHS activities at GE Vernova’s Milan manufacturing plant (approximately 150 employees across 3 production lines), ensuring compliance with GE standards and Italian regulatory requirements. The role requires hands-on EHS expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a pragmatic approach to embedding EHS into daily operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as the appointed RSPP under Italian D.Lgs. 81/08, advising site leadership and ensuring full compliance with local and GE corporate standards.
- Liaise with other functions to ensure proper focus on EHS including E&C.
- Ensure EHS risk assessments are effective, updated and communicated (including on E&C sites).
- Monitor applicable EHS regulations and ensure Unit’s compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in works council meetings with employees and other governing bodies in accordance with local regulations.
- Identify EHS training needs for the Unit in coordination with HR & Managers.
- Train, coach or secure training and coaching of action leaders, sponsors and management teams.
- Plan safety visits (Gemba walks) for management teams (including on E&C sites) and follow-up observations.
- Deploy digital tools (GEOS, E-Andon, e-obeya) and continuously improve EHS digital toolbox.
- Maintain and improve the site's EHS Management System per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Lead EHS audits (governance, insurance, machines conformity, etc.).
- Report progress of EHS improvements actions.
- Prepare operational budgets to fund EHS annual activities.
What We're Looking For
- Full compliance with the requirements for RSPP (D.Lgs. 81/08, Modules A, B, C).
- Proven experience managing Italian EHS regulatory obligations (e.g., INAIL, ATS/ASL, ARPA, Fire Dept/VVF).
- Proven track record in managing ISO certifications and EHS internal/external audits.
- Similar experience in an Italian manufacturing site is a must.
- Pragmatic approach and ability to apply EHS knowledge in daily operations.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, implement and execute programs; established project management skills.
- Electrical risk assessment knowledge is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: €58,400 - €87,600 gross per year; base pay aligned to Chimico-Farmaceutico NCBA salary scales.
- Bonus: Eligible for Variable-AIP annual bonus with target of 15% of annual base salary based on business and individual performance.
- Pension: Fonchim employer contribution 2.1%, employee 1.2%.
