• As an EHS Manager, you will lead Environmental, Health and Safety activities for the Mt. Olive site, ensuring compliance with Givaudan policies and applicable regulations. You will partner with site leadership to manage EHS risks, implement safety programs, and support EHS practices across the organization. You will also oversee training, regulatory reporting, incident analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

You Will Report To: Operations Director

Your Responsibilities

• Manage site EHS programs and ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with site management to implement EHS strategies, programs, and initiatives aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
• Lead site sustainability initiatives and track sustainability KPIs to measure performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support progress toward company sustainability goals.
• Manage EHS training for employees and contractors, including safety, health, and behavior-based safety programs.
• Oversee emergency planning, hazardous and non-hazardous waste activities, and required EHS documentation.
• Complete regulatory reporting and track EHS KPIs, audits, incidents, and near-miss trends to identify corrective actions.
• Lead the employee safety committee and help resolve identified safety concerns.
• Be the primary site contact for federal, state, and local EHS regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate EHS activities with internal departments, regional management, regulatory authorities, and other external partners.

Your Professional Profile Includes

• Master’s degree preferred in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or related experience in field.
• 10–15 years of industry experience, including EHS experience in a plant environment.
• EHS qualifications or certifications applicable to the country or location.
• 5+ years of experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control.
• Experience with root cause analysis, process safety management, and EHS audits.
• 5+ years of experience with health and safety management and emergency management.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance, reporting, and EHS documentation.
• Experience commanding an EHS presence that drives a proactive safety culture and guides leaders and teams through key EHS decisions, regulatory audits, and incident response.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in English.

Compensation and Benefits

The established salary range for this position is $125,000–$175,000. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications. Medical, dental, and vision coverage and a high-matching 401(k) retirement plan.
