A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as an EHS Manager where you will be instrumental in supporting and advising our GT Service business on crucial environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements. Imagine leading initiatives that cultivate a culture of safety and helping us ascend the safety culture ladder. You will spearhead training initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement under our Zero Harm framework and integrated management systems, with a keen focus on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Your analytical prowess will be key as you track incident statistics and support root cause analyses, all while promoting regulatory compliance and addressing any gaps.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive initiatives to enhance a culture of safety within the organization.
- Lead and support essential EHS training initiatives to promote awareness and compliance.
- Analyze EHS data and report incident statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance on environmental, health, and safety issues, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate regular meetings within the EQS community to promote information exchange and updates.
- Support root cause analysis of EHS events and track identified actions for continuous improvement
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, industrial engineering, or environmental engineering.
- CAP level VI as Certified Senior Occupational Health and Safety Professional by the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions (ACT).
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in high-risk activities such as cranes & lifting, machine guarding, and energy isolation.
- Proficiency in EHS management systems (ISO 14001; ISO 45001) and skills in auditing and root cause investigation.
- Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
- Availability to travel on site but also internationally (around 20% of the time).
Nice to have:
- Good level of French Language
- Training as a specialist in occupational safety.
