EHS Disability Aide/Floater
General Description Responsible to assist the classroom teacher to provide learning for infants and toddlers using a developmentally appropriate curriculum, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through routines and activities. Must provide an inclusive environment for children in the classroom including children with special needs. Must abide by the Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards, Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers, and other Program Policies and Procedures.
Examples of Work Performed Assists the teacher in classroom activities that provide children with a learning environment appropriate to the age and stage of development to include children with special needs.
