Educator for Nursing Success

About the Role Ascend Learning's ATI team is seeking an Educator for Nursing Success to provide part-time one-on-one online guidance and support to entry-level nursing students. The role focuses on helping students master content in math, science (including anatomy and physiology), English, and reading using ATI products to support clinical practice and board readiness.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one instruction via distance learning platform to support entry-level nursing students in math, science (including anatomy and physiology), English, and reading.
• Learn and maintain understanding of ATI products to assist customers.
• Demonstrate analytical skills to interpret participant outcomes.
• Implement consistent processes to deliver high-quality support in an online asynchronous environment.
• Collaborate with team members and faculty to promote excellence in delivery, discuss students’ outcomes, and support product development.
• Provide scheduled virtual student office hours weekly.
• Maintain a dependable computer with reliable internet access.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s or higher degree in education with teaching certification (preferred) or Master’s or higher degree in Nursing (considered).
• Knowledge at secondary education level of Math, Science (including Anatomy and Physiology), English, and Reading.
• Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Current secondary-level teaching experience; online teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent professional communication in online environments; ability to navigate and engage in online platforms.
• Demonstrated technological competence with a variety of applications and online tools.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office.
• Ability to respond to customers twice daily via online interaction.
• Willingness to apply best practice guidelines and follow processes to service customers.
• Ability to guide students to identify personal learning needs and create a collaborative atmosphere with faculty and students.
• Analytical skills to analyze student performance and personalize study plans.

Nice to Have

• Instructional technology experience (preferred).
• Experience teaching in an online environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with ATI products and solutions (preferred).
