Job title: Educational/School Psychology - Temporary Faculty Pool
About the Role The Department of Educational Leadership and School Psychology at PennWest invites applications for its temporary faculty pool to teach a range of courses including graduate-level school psychology specialization courses and undergraduate educational psychology. The successful candidate will be capable of and committed to effective teaching, ongoing scholarly growth, and service contributions to the University and communities. Involvement with departmental, college-wide, and university committees is expected when appropriate.
What You'll Do
- Teach a range of courses including graduate-level specialization courses in school psychology and undergraduate educational psychology.
- Teach counseling theories and techniques and integrate research into coursework.
- Maintain professional responsibilities, pursue scholarly growth, and contribute service to the University and communities.
- Participate in departmental, college-wide, and university committees when appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of an MS, MEd, or equivalent in a related field (Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred).
- Eligibility for Pennsylvania school psychology certification or Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
- Preference for candidates with undergraduate- or graduate-level teaching experience.
- Professional experience working with children as a school psychologist is desired.
- Fluent in English; strong technology skills; good communication; willingness to support and work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to teach graduate-level school psychology and undergraduate educational psychology; commitment to teaching, scholarly growth, and service.
Nice to Have
- Ph.D. or Ed.D.
