In this role, you’ll help keep online orders moving smoothly by working with vendors, investigating shipment and order issues, managing incoming requests, and ensuring problems are resolved. It’s a great opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with different teams, and gaining hands-on experience in a large retail environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a busy operational inbox, responding to vendor questions, store inquiries, order issues, and customer service escalations.
  • Investigate order discrepancies, delayed shipments, cancellations, missing information, and inventory availability issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to gather information, resolve issues, and provide timely updates.
  • Review daily reports, dashboards, and trackers to identify outstanding orders and operational exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate records, case notes, and Excel trackers.
  • Follow established processes to resolve routine issues and escalate more complex situations when necessary.
  • Identify recurring issues and share observations that may help improve team processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in eCommerce operations, order management, vendor support, fulfillment, supply chain, customer support operations, or a related field. Relevant internship or co-op experience is welcome.
  • Experience managing multiple requests, cases, orders, or operational tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills and confidence working with internal and external partners.
  • Practical problem-solving abilities, including investigating issues and following them through to resolution.
  • Experience using Excel, spreadsheets, reports, or operational tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage routine, high-volume work.
  • A collaborative, dependable approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with dropshipping, online marketplaces, or vendor fulfillment operations.
  • Familiarity with purchase orders, shipment tracking, advance shipping notices (ASNs), or inventory updates.
  • Experience using DSCO or similar order and vendor management platforms.
  • Exposure to Power BI or operational dashboards.
  • Experience working in a large retail or multi-brand organization.

Why Apply?

  • Work with recognized retail brands: Support eCommerce operations across three well-known Canadian retailers.
  • Build valuable experience: Develop skills in online order fulfillment, vendor operations, and cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Join a supportive team: Benefit from established training resources, collaborative colleagues, and structured processes.
  • Maintain work-life balance: Join a team that values a consistent work schedule and sustainable working practices.
  • Enjoy contract benefits: Eligible contractors have access to healthcare, retirement benefits, and paid time off through Aquent.

If you enjoy solving operational problems, keeping work organized, and ensuring customers and business partners receive timely support, we’d love to hear from you.
