  • To present Kids and Traffic professional development workshops and content regarding road safety education to education and care and related services and their stakeholders.

As an Early Childhood Road Safety

Education

  • Workshop Presenter, you will deliver high-quality professional development workshops to educators, service leaders, families, tertiary students, and community stakeholders. Workshops are delivered both face-to-face and online, requiring flexibility, initiative, and strong presentation skills. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your early childhood expertise with adult learning and community engagement to make a meaningful contribution to child safety outcomes across NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging professional development workshops on early childhood road safety education.

  • Build positive relationships with education and care services, tertiary providers, and community organisations.

  • Facilitate learning for diverse audiences including educators, families, management teams, and pre-service teachers.

  • Travel regularly throughout greater Sydney to support workshop delivery and stakeholder engagement.

  • About You

  • You are a confident educator and presenter who enjoys working with adults as well as children. You are self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently while maintaining strong professional relationships.

  • Essential Requirements

  • Four-year Early Childhood Education degree or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualification.

  • Demonstrated success teaching in early childhood education and care settings.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of the diversity of early childhood education and care services.

  • Experience working with children and families from diverse communities.

  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to unexpected situations.

  • Ability to travel throughout the greater Sydney region and to undertake regular evening workshops and occasional weekend work.

  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.

  • Current Working with Children Check.

  • A medical clearance, demerit point check and National Police Check will be carried out for successful applicants.

  • Desirable

  • Experience facilitating adult learning or professional development.

  • Experience or knowledge of road safety education.
