About the Role PRN Early Childhood Assistant Teacher for Logan Health Kid Kare & Infant Center. Join a warm, energetic, and collaborative team to support young children's growth and discovery in a nurturing environment with a focus on ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
What You'll Do
- Create a Safe, Engaging Environment and maintain hazard-free play and learning areas.
- Promote cleanliness, health, and safety; set up age-appropriate activities.
- Support & Supervise Children; ensure safety and emotional well-being; guide children through play, routines, and learning experiences; encourage lifelong healthy habits.
- Be a Collaborative Team Member; partner with teachers to plan activities and support classrooms; mentor new staff.
- Administrative Support; assist with documentation, attendance tracking, and daily reports.
- Celebrate Diversity; respect and value each child's background, abilities, and culture.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old; Associate's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred.
- Completion of Montana state-required early childhood training within 6 months of hire; completion of STARS Assistant Teacher training within 12 months.
- CPR/AED certified or able to obtain within 30 days (training provided).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; genuine love for working with young children.

- Schedule: Kid Kare hours Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. PRN positions require a minimum of 25 hours per week (typical shifts: two 10-hour shifts and one shorter shift to cover lunches and breaks). PRN roles offer flexibility and may include hourly differential pay for certain shifts. Pre-employment screening applies.
