About the Role Canonical's Early Careers Program, Journey to Prof I, is a globally accessible, structured pathway designed to nurture talent, provide ownership from day one, and align with a remote-first, open source culture. The program facilitates a three-tier progression from Graduate to Associate to Prof I, with embedded feedback, promotion cycles, and opportunities to explore diverse roles while growing technical and leadership skills.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the defined three-tiered progression (Graduate → Associate → Prof I) with embedded feedback and promotion cycles.
- Experience diverse roles across Canonical to build deep awareness of company culture, leadership best practices, and technical expertise.
- Develop both technical and behavioral skills, with ownership and impact from day one.
- Engage in self-driven growth and learning through a generous annual allowance and access to curated training materials and time to benefit from them.
- Collaborate within a remote-first, open source culture and partner with teams across the product stack.
