About the Role
Cape Fox Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for an Employee Assistance Program Counselor (EAPC) to support the National Institute of Health. This full-time exempt position offers a salary of $95,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including holidays, PTO, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) with company match.
What You'll Do

Provide crisis intervention and workplace conflict mediation to minimize disruption and reestablish harmony.

Refer employees to outside agencies for specialized treatment, long-term care, and hospitalization; provide follow-up counseling.

Monitor compliance with treatment plans and coordinate with community resources.

Deliver consultative services to supervisors, HR professionals, and EO representatives; train supervisors on EAP services and referral mechanisms.

Develop educational and health promotion programs; design outreach and marketing strategies to raise awareness of EAP.

Serve as liaison between the workplace and referral resources; evaluate potential resources.

Build strong internal and external relationships to improve EAP efficiency; participate in NIH task forces to promote safety and productivity.

Supervise OMS staff; support day-to-day EAP operations and ensure high-quality clinical and administrative services.

Provide leadership for EAP initiatives, assist with evaluating EAP effectiveness, and generate quarterly and weekly statistics for program management.

Develop new EAP services to meet needs; monitor utilization; collaborate with departments to standardize access to care and protocols.

Act as subject matter expert for electronic records; support NIH EAP website inquiries; oversee office coverage and staffing.

Advise management on workforce trends and coordinate responses to critical incidents on and off NIH campus.

What We're Looking For

Masters degree in social work, employee assistance, health administration, or related field (desirable).

Valid Maryland clinical license and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP); CPR certification.

At least two years of experience in mental health or EAP settings; strong counseling skills in community-oriented/occupational health environments.

Preference for NIH or federal healthcare experience; experience with program development, outreach, and training.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; CPR certification.

Authorization to work in the United States.

Travel up to 0-10%.

NIH experience or other federal healthcare setting familiarity.

Experience with EAP data reporting and QA processes.
