Job title: Duet Autopilot Engineer
About the Role Duet Autopilot is Decagon's self-improving agent platform. You’ll help develop and operate Autopilot, translating production conversations into validated agent updates and ensuring enterprise governance with human approvals.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate on the Autopilot iteration loop, turning production signals into targeted updates validated by testing and simulations.
- Manage a versioned workspace and coordinate human reviews before production changes are released.
- Build and maintain testing and validation flows, including Simulations and a golden test set representing real customer personas.
- Ensure updates respect brand guidelines, policy preferences, and explicit off-limits rules.
- Monitor outcomes and communicate changes to stakeholders, contributing to transparency and trust in production AI.
What We're Looking For
- Interest or experience in developing and operating AI agent systems that improve from production signals.
- Familiarity with testing loops, simulations, regression concerns, and end-to-end validation.
- Comfort with enterprise governance, human approvals, and traceable change history.
- Collaborative mindset with product, design, and operations teams.
