Job title: DSP System Engineering Intern

About the Role You will join the Architecture team as a DSP System Engineering Intern to contribute to next-generation PHY design. The internship lasts about five months with flexibility, offering exposure to system modeling, DSP challenges, and tradeoff analyses.

What You'll Do

• Be part of the Architecture team and get introduced to state-of-the-art PHY design
• Familiarize with modeling approaches for system design and simulation
• Work on link budgeting, non-ideality modeling and system simulation
• Analyze DSP challenges and opportunities, explore and compare optimization directions, and generate tradeoff curves of performance and cost
• Be supervised in all phases with a reference person to accelerate learning
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions
• Work with other teams, including analog and digital designers
• Interact with an international environment and teams from multiple locations around the world

What We're Looking For

• Typically requires a candidate in their last year of master’s degree in electrical engineering (thesis activity) or a Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields for the post degree internship position
• Familiarity with Digital Communication
• Knowledge about Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Familiarity with simulation of communication systems
• Good understanding of analog and digital design is also preferred
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Detailed oriented attitude and curiosity
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay range: 21,250-28,750 EUR (annual rate)
• The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
