About the Role

The Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences at LIU Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level in the field of Drug Regulatory Affairs. The successful candidate will participate in scholarship, teaching, and service within the College, and will teach in the graduate Drug Regulatory Affairs program (MS) and in the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) program. Preference will be given to applicants with industrial or federal regulatory experiences who are interested in transitioning to an academic role. These are 12-month appointments; rank will depend on qualifications and experience.

What You'll Do

• Teach in the graduate MS in Drug Regulatory Affairs program and in the Pharm.

• D. program.

• Participate in scholarship and scholarly activities within the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

• Engage in service to the College and contribute to curriculum development and program planning.

• Mentor students and contribute to attracting extramural funding where possible.

• What We're Looking For

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields. A B.S. degree in pharmacy is highly desirable.

• Prior teaching experience (teaching assistant, Instructor, Lecturer, etc.) at a college of pharmacy or similar program is preferred.

• A track record of scholarly achievements and potential for attracting extramural funding.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Interest in industrial or federal regulatory experiences; preference for those transitioning to academia.

• Ability to work in a diverse, inclusive academic environment.

• Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $115,000 - $120,000 per year.

• 12-month appointment.
