About the Role Dual role position requires operation of company transportation equipment and performing warehouse and tank farm operation activities as directed. The role emphasizes compliance with federal, state, local regulations and company policies while maintaining professional interactions with customers and partners. What You'll Do
- Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes, complete inspections and paperwork associated with hazardous materials and waste pickup transport
- Ensure safety and compliance of load
- Use onboard Samsara e-Logging Device to manage driver duty statuses and planned freight order delivery routing sequencing
- Use ePOD device to accurately capture customer delivery receipt of goods and other relevant shipment documents
- Perform all other duties as required to make proper deliveries and pick-ups for customers What We're Looking For
- Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
- Valid Class A CDL license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
- Ability to operate a tractor-trailer in diverse conditions (highway, local roads, city/country, tight spaces)
- Physical ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds; tilt back or break 800 lb drums onto a dolly; stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass company drug tests and satisfy DOT physical qualifications to maintain CDL-A
- May be handling potentially hazardous substances
