About the Role This Federal Work Study Driver supports community service programs run by the Center for the Common Good. The role involves transporting participants to weekly service sites, working alongside the group, and returning them to campus. Shifts are typically between 2 and 5 hours, with a total of 3-15 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Transport participants to weekly service sites and accompany the group, then return them to campus
- Drive assignments based on your schedule and participate with the group at service sites
- Maintain a valid Villanova van certification (must be van certified by the University or obtain certification prior to start date)
- Complete any required clearances if placed (PA Act 153: child abuse, criminal, and FBI fingerprinting)
- Coordinate with program schedules; position openings include four total Driver roles
What We're Looking For
- Driving experience
- Van certification by Villanova University or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date
- Current Villanova University student with Federal Work Study eligibility
- Ability to work as part of a team and support community service initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage Rate: $13.00/hour
- This is a Federal Work Study student position; four Driver roles are available
