About the Role We are seeking a responsible Ready-Mix Driver to operate Cemex's concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites. The role requires safe operation under varying site conditions, including uneven terrain, and may involve handling extension chutes weighing 30–50 pounds. You will be a key part of Cemex's moving supply chain, upholding safety, service, and teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate the ready-mix truck and deliver concrete loads to commercial and residential job sites, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for yourself and teammates.
- Manage discharge methods to suit site settings and conditions, adapting pouring technique as needed.
- Attach and manage extension chutes (30–50 pounds) to achieve precise concrete pouring.
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck, performing routine checks as required.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image for Cemex while representing the company.
- Coordinate with dispatch and team members to optimize routes and operations.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B). High School diploma preferred. Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction and transportation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable).

- Physical requirements: Frequent walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and climbing as part of daily routine. You are trained on data up to October 2023.
