About the Role
We’re looking for a Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate the concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites. The role may involve handling extension chutes and navigating varied site conditions to ensure accurate pours. What You'll Do
- Safely operate the ready-mix truck and deliver loads to job sites
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Manage discharge methods for various site settings and conditions
- Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring (extension chutes weigh 30–50 pounds)
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image
- Coordinate with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B)
- High School diploma preferred
- Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors
- Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable) Nice to Have
