About the Role Cemex is seeking a responsible Ready-Mix Driver to operate the concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential job sites. The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and proper discharge methods, including handling extension chutes. What You'll Do
- Safely operate the ready-mix truck and deliver concrete loads to job sites on schedule.
- Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions; attach extension chutes as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional company image.
- Coordinate with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations. What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B); High School diploma preferred.
- Not prohibited in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years.
- Strong safety protocol knowledge and the ability to follow supervisor guidance.
- Good communication and knowledge of traffic routes; basic truck maintenance skills (desirable). Nice to Have
