Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver/Dispatch Rider to join our Logistics team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, prompt, and efficient transportation and delivery of pharmaceutical products and other assigned items to customers, vendors, and business partners.
- This role requires strict adherence to traffic and pharmaceutical safety regulations, proper handling of sensitive medical supplies, and maintaining delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt pickup and delivery of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, and customers.
- Verify delivery contents, obtain acknowledgments/signatures, and collect payments or cheques when required.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle/motorcycle.
- Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Handle sensitive and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical items with care.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
- Assist with loading and unloading items safely.
- Report mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
- Valid rider’s permit/license (Class A).
- 1–2 years’ experience as a dispatch rider.
- Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and routes.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Basic motorcycle maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and responsibility.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive packages is an advantage.
Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
