Driver CDL

Mondelēz International is seeking a CDL Driver for the Kent, Washington area to safely and efficiently deliver our products to stores and warehouses. This role supports our focus on safety and timely deliveries, helping customers receive high‑quality snacks. The position is full-time and may operate under a labor union representation. The schedule is subject to change based on customer demand and may be Monday to Friday (4 or 5 days), starting between 2 PM–4 PM or 2:30 AM, and finishing when the work is completed. The typical shift is 8–10 hours, with potential overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks on equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch.

Requirements

• CDL-Class A license with at least 2 years of proven safe driving experience.

• Valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID; required to access federal facilities such as military bases.

• Preferred direct store delivery (DSD) experience.

• Successful completion of drug test, motor vehicle record (MVR), and background check.

• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required.

• Customer-focused with a positive, service-oriented attitude.

• Minimum one year of safe driving experience (DOT checks last 10 years) and familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations, plus local, state, and federal requirements.

• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.

• Proficiency with smartphones and electronic logging devices (ELD) for logging positions and driving times; able to use a scanner and log deliveries.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedules; ability to work outdoors in varying weather and temperatures.

• Willingness to comply with safety protocols and maintain equipment and documentation.

• Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $33.35 per hour, with a shift differential of $0.40 per hour for all hours worked between 8 PM and 4 AM.
