About this role
Summary: We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Driver-Automotive to join our team at our company in Sitrah, Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving and maintaining vehicles, as well as a valid driver's license. The Driver-Automotive will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for our company, as well as ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Transport company personnel, equipment, and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of company vehicles
- Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or damages to the appropriate department
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs
- Assist with loading and unloading of company materials and equipment
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving and maintaining vehicles
- Familiarity with Bahrain roads and traffic laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
