Job Summary
- The Drilling Engineer will support the planning and safe execution of drilling, completion, workover and well intervention activities across OML 30. The role will contribute throughout the lifecycle of the wells and fields, ensuring that operations are properly designed, cost-effective, compliant with regulatory and HSSE requirements, and delivered in collaboration with relevant internal teams, contractors and service providers.
Job Details
- The Drilling Engineer will report to the GM, Technical and provide technical and operational support for the delivery of the Company’s drilling, completion, workover and well intervention programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop comprehensive drilling and well programmes in line with corporate policies, standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed well designs covering well objectives, casing programmes, drill-string design, bottom-hole assembly selection, hydraulics calculations and contingency procedures.
- Prepare detailed well intervention work programmes.
- Conduct offset-well analyses.
