About the Role The Drayage Operations Support Specialist will maintain and support NFI Port Services Drayage systems and processes, ensuring data integrity across internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on delivering value-added efficiencies to operations, supporting drayage related systems, functions, and processes throughout the organization, and reporting to the Sr Operations Support Manager. What You'll Do
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the Trinium system and how its processes interact with other functions.
- Ensure accuracy in AR/AP rate information; maintain system setup and updates.
- Learn and execute manual and upload processes; maintain accuracy for Customer, Carrier, and Consignee information.
- Respond timely to Ops Support ticket submissions and Ops Box emails; provide system and project updates as needed.
- Collaborate across teams to understand how Trinium processes affect one another.
- Deliver effective coaching and training for operators/users on system tools and processes.
- Maintain uniform Drayage processes across the drayage division.
- Be prepared for future opportunities to lead and develop the operational support team. What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of transportation experience, preferably in a port or rail drayage environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; TMS/Trinium experience is a plus.
- Ability to express opinions respectfully and communicate to diverse audiences; strong written/verbal communication.
- Experience in preparing and delivering training and coaching to operators.
- Results-focused with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Proactive and able to work independently; self-motivated.
- Availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and possibly holidays. Nice to Have
- TMS/Trinium experience.
