Drainage Engineer

What you’ll do
-
As a Drainage Engineer in our Water, Environment and Land team in our Melbourne office, you’ll help deliver practical and resilient stormwater solutions across transport, water, energy and infrastructure projects. You will -

· Design stormwater systems including pits and pipes, channels, culverts and water quality assets.

· Undertake hydrological and hydraulic assessments from concept through to detailed design and construction support.

· Develop drainage models using 12d, with opportunities to build capability in HEC-RAS, DRAINS and TUFLOW.

· Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated drainage solutions and improve our digital tools and workflows.

Your experience and expertise
-
You enjoy getting into the technical detail while understanding the bigger picture: creating solutions that protect people, places and the environment.

· A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with around 3–6 years’ relevant experience in drainage, stormwater or water quality.

· Experience with drainage design or modelling software such as 12d, HEC-RAS, DRAINS or TUFLOW.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of relevant Australian standards and design guidance.

· Clear communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in sustainability, climate resilience and continuing your professional development.
