About the Role CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Dr. Call Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician to support mail-order pharmacy operations. This remote role interacts with members and providers to resolve prescription issues and enable timely fulfillment, with opportunities to work from home.
What You'll Do
- Perform computations and work on semi-routine assignments
- Provide resolution or outreach for resolutions on prescriptions incomplete, invalid, or containing clinical issues
- Communicate with physician offices and hospitals via fax or telephone
- Research and update clarifications and denials on patient profiles
- Make or take calls to/from providers, patients and/or retail pharmacies
- Work within defined policy parameters with some latitude over prioritization and timing
- Collaborate with team and work under minimal direction
What We're Looking For
- Must reside in Texas, Arizona, Florida, or Ohio
- Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience (retail, mail order, or hospital)
- Problem solving and collaborative problem solving; self-directed; able to work in a group
- Positive, proactive attitude; energetic; self-starter
- Inbound/outbound call experience in any pharmacy setting
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Intermediate PC skills
- Availability to work between 8:00am-8:00pm CST
Nice to Have
- High School Diploma or GED
- National Certification (PTCB/CPhT)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $40,000 - $52,300 per year
- Travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required
