Dot Net System Application Developer

About the Role We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to build the application layer of a high-performance software solution running on Client/Edge devices (PC/Embedded). Your work will focus on developing the System Logic using .NET 8+ to orchestrate workflows, integrate with native C++ libraries, manage multi-threaded operations on Linux and Windows, and enable real-time UI communication and data persistence. What You'll Do

• Develop robust Console Applications and Background Services on Windows and Linux using .NET 8+.
• Implement multi-threading to handle data ingestion, UI updates, and logging without freezing the application.
• Apply asynchronous programming (async/await) to maximize responsiveness.
• Implement interop with native libraries via P/Invoke/Marshaling and safely convert data between managed and unmanaged memory.
• Orchestrate application workflows (start/stop engines, handle events) and ensure system stability with watchdog mechanisms, auto-recovery, and resource management.
• Communicate with the Frontend UI using real-time channels (SignalR, WebSockets, TCP/UDP, or IPC such as Named Pipes/Unix Domain Sockets).
• Implement local data persistence with SQLite using EF Core or Dapper.
• Deploy across Windows and Linux; work with services/daemons and ensure robust logging and monitoring. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or a related field; at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Modern .NET & System Skills: Proficiency in C# with .NET 8+; strong asynchronous programming; understanding of CPU-bound vs I/O-bound operations.
• Multi-threading and synchronization: ability to work with locks, monitors, semaphores, mutex; debug race conditions and deadlocks.
• System knowledge: understanding of process lifecycle, memory management, services/daemons on OS level.
• Interop & Environment: experience integrating C++ libraries (P/Invoke); comfortable deploying on Windows and Linux.
• Database: experience with SQLite using EF Core or a SQL client. Nice to Have
• Windows UI Development (WPF, WinForms, or WinUI).
• Elasticsearch / NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Docker: experience writing Dockerfile and docker-compose to containerize .NET 8 applications.
• Azure Cloud: familiarity with Azure IoT Hub or Data Synchronization.
• C++ Literacy: ability to read C++ header files (.h); coding in C++ not required.
