About the Role Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support a Department of Defense client. The role involves applying GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD policies across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and policy to improve audit readiness and financial reporting.
What You'll Do
- Provide financial management support to the DoD client across accounting, audit, internal controls, and policy.
- Apply knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD policies; assist with financial statements and audit readiness services.
- Understand ERP-related compliance and trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an ERP environment.
- Understand Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems.
- Support DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance.
- Experience in financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and DoD financial policy.
- Knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD policies; familiarity with ERP and DoD financial management systems.
- Understanding of OMB policies and federal financial management systems.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management.
