About the Role Join Alstom in Oslo as a Documentation Manager, responsible for defining and implementing documentation management processes across project, program, and bid organizations. You will ensure compliance with contractual obligations, manage documentation lifecycles, and oversee the deployment of electronic document management systems (EDMS), fostering a strong documentation culture. What You'll Do
- Deploy the documentation management process within your team.
- Create and update Documentation Management Plans (DMPs) in line with customer requirements.
- Define and implement documentation numbering systems and repositories.
- Ensure proper validation and timely delivery of contractual documentation; manage external and internal distribution requirements.
- Set up and deploy EDMS, train users, and manage access rights.
- Participate in configuration and change reviews to integrate documentation activities.
- Monitor document milestones and provide reporting and analysis to stakeholders. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in technical documentation; minimum 5 years of experience in documentation management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and analytical tools; experience in preparing dashboards and KPIs.
- Strong understanding of project documentation standards; ability to contribute to or lead the implementation and operation of EDMS tools on projects.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Norwegian or German is a plus.
- Familiarity with change and configuration management concepts; structured, process-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multi-site and international teams. Nice to Have
- Knowledge of EDMS tools.
