About the Role Live Nation's Dock Security at Skyla Amphitheatre is responsible for protecting the venue, staff, and guests by controlling access and maintaining safety. You will monitor entrances, document incidents, patrol the premises, and ensure that only authorized individuals and vehicles are present in secure areas.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other people to maintain security and safety of the premises.
• Keep records/reports of daily activities and authorized people entering and exiting the area.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Document irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
• Authenticate and ensure that only authorized vehicles are in compound and secure areas.
• Warn people of rule infractions or violations and uphold Live Nation back of house security protocol with all crew and guests.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting.
• Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8-10 hours, without the use of electronic devices or other distractions.
