Job title: Dock Associate (7a-3p)
About the Role The Dock Associate is responsible for wrapping pallets, loading pallets into trucks, and moving products to staging lanes and production lines. This role supports the shipping and goods-handling workflow to help Milwaukee Tool move pallets efficiently and accurately.
What You'll Do
- Drive forklift or pallet jack to load and move pallets.
- Wrap pallets, record weight, and stage pallets to be loaded.
- Load product into trailers and ensure the correct paperwork accompanies shipments.
- Locate pallets by freight bill and assign labels; seal and release trailers.
- Maintain overall organization and cleaning of the work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education equivalent to four years of high school.
- At least 1 year of experience operating forklift or pallet jack in a production/distribution facility.
- Ability to operate motorized equipment and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, and pull; able to lift and move tools and boxes.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions; able to work in a manufacturing plant setting.
- Good paperwork handling and attention to detail for pallets and shipments.
