DMT Documentary/Research Assistant
The student helps shape an accessible, compelling visual resource that reflects the DMT field’s multicultural, embodied, and communal therapeutic foundations. The student will research historically marginalized DMT history and contemporary perspectives, gathering interviews and movement-based footage, coordinating with faculty and community partners, and assisting with story-boarding, editing, and narrative development.
Qualifications
- Work study eligible; involved with film making experience; ability to connect with community partners; dance/movement therapy student invested in lifting up the history of those who were marginalized in the field.
