About the Role Take on the role of DMS Engineer in Bangalore, focusing on the design, verification, and cybersecurity of Alstom's systems within a cutting-edge field. You’ll work with Development, Validation & Verification, Solution, and Project teams to ensure consistency, compatibility, and reliability of our systems.
What You'll Do
- Define system architecture, operational modes, and functionalities; address cybersecurity needs and ensure consistency and compatibility across sub-systems.
- Verify system requirements and architecture design through modeling and simulation; support cross-functional design meetings.
- Conduct design reviews with key stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and processes.
- Collaborate with Development, Validation & Verification, Solution, and Project teams to address technical design challenges.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in software design, development, and validation.
- Strong technical knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Linux.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes clusters; proficiency configuring and maintaining Kubernetes resources and Ansible playbooks.
- Ability to monitor application performance using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Familiarity with network configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence and guide in a matrix organization.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Experience in automation scripting and test environment setup.
