About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Internal Medicine seeks a Division Director for the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology. The Director will report to the Department Chair and will lead the division in alignment with clinical care, research, and education missions, while supporting residency and medical student training and providing mentoring and administrative support to delegated staff. What You'll Do
- Lead the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology within the Department of Internal Medicine, aligning efforts with clinical care, research, and education missions.
- Oversee and support residency and medical student training, and provide mentoring and administrative support to faculty and trainees as assigned.
- Lead a diverse team of academicians from varied backgrounds; cultivate communication, integrity, adaptability, and empathy to support interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Develop a roadmap to expand clinical and basic science research in the division.
- Develop a plan for the optimal utilization of Advanced Practice Providers. What We're Looking For
- Senior faculty with leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior faculty, research associates, and graduate students.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to motivate interdisciplinary teams and convey integrity.
- Demonstrated adaptability and empathy toward patients and colleagues; capable of navigating change.
- Academic credentials commensurate with experience, with rank aligned to qualifications.
- Experience in clinical care, research, and education within internal medicine or related fields.
