Job title: Distribution Teammate - Non-Equipment Operator
About the Role Join Owens & Minor as a Distribution Teammate - Non-Equipment Operator in our Carol Stream, IL distribution center. You’ll help receive, pick, sort, and load product using RF and Voice Pick technology to support hospital and healthcare partners.
What You'll Do
- Receiving: Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers/containers manually using a pallet jack; accurately counts, verifies, and receives product with RF equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology; documents variances.
- LUM Picking: Selects products and quantities as directed by Voice Pick Technology and/or RF scanner; places items into totes on conveyor belt; removes empty cartons as needed.
- Sortation: Prepares sortation area by setting up pallets and carts; moves cartons and totes from conveyors to pallets/carts according to assigned batch.
- Loading: Uses RF scanner to ensure totes, pallets, and carts are loaded correctly onto trucks for customer delivery; uses pallet jack to load pallets.
- General: Follows procedures, maintains a safe and clean work environment, adheres to safety policies, places incoming merchandise into inventory, conducts physical inventories, performs basic math, maintains productivity and quality standards, and performs additional duties as directed.
What We're Looking For
- General knowledge of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.)
- Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution center is a plus; Warehouse/Operations certification is a plus
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions; work well in a fast-paced, team environment; meet performance goals
- Good attention to detail; dependable with regular attendance
- Willingness to learn new material handling equipment and WMS technology; adherence to SOPs and safety requirements

- Warehouse/Operations certification
- Experience with WMS software and material handling equipment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: The anticipated pay range is $19.00 per hour (USD)
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
