Job title: Distinguished Engineer - SoC Verification
About the Role Join Marvell's Custom Compute Solutions Business Unit (CCSBU) in San Diego as a Distinguished Engineer for SoC Verification. You’ll shape verification strategy from the ground up and help build a world-class San Diego DV organization that delivers high-quality customer silicon for AI, XPU, and XPU-Attach programs.
What You'll Do
- Lead DV, emulation and post-silicon validation execution with a zero-defect mindset.
- Define DV, emulation and post-silicon validation scope and execution timelines with stakeholders; set goals and keep the plan on track.
- Define DV methodology and verification strategies; drive DV testbench architectures.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Design, DFT, PD, FW and system teams for successful product execution.
- Lead tool evaluation and selection; drive productivity improvements.
- Monitor industry DV trends and adapt strategies; hire, build and retain a high-performance team; address training needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with 17+ years of experience; or Master’s with 12-15+ years; PhD with 10-12+ years.
- Expertise with SystemVerilog and UVM; ability to write detailed test plans and build sophisticated, directed and random verification environments.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python or Perl) and EDA verification tools.
- Expertise with Object-Oriented Design and implementation; Linux OS; strong programming skills (C++ and ARM assembly).
- Expertise with various networking protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: USD 212,100 – 314,020 per year.
