About the Role Concordia University, St. Paul is seeking Dissertation Chairs and Committee Members for the EdD in Educational Leadership to mentor and guide students through the dissertation process. The role encompasses a range of content areas including K-12 and higher education, formal and non-formal settings, and requires alignment with CSP ethics and policies. This is a 2–3 year commitment with training provided upon hire; applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis as openings arise. What You'll Do
- Mentor students to meet learning outcomes for their dissertation, assess performance, and develop future leaders in their field.
- Guide students in developing topics, research questions, designs, proposal development, IRB processes, data analysis, writing findings, and final defense.
- Provide written and oral feedback throughout the dissertation process.
- Maintain up-to-date CITI training and adhere to CSP ethical standards and policies.
- Lead and support the learner through dissertation milestones; provide feedback on proposal, data collection, and final manuscript.
- Supervise submission of IRB protocols and the completion of data collection.
- Opportunities may exist to teach online courses in the future. What We're Looking For
- Doctoral degree required.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge within one's discipline.
- Experience with online delivery of education and communication.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting future industry leaders. Compensation & Benefits
- Stipends totaling $2,000 for Dissertation Chairs and $1,000 for each Committee Member over the term.
