Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations for on-time delivery.
- Monitor vehicle movements and optimize routing for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Manage dispatch personnel, providing training and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to streamline dispatch activities.
- Analyze dispatch data and generate performance reports.
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch transactions, vehicle logs, and fuel usage.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives in dispatch operations.
- Ensure proper fleet maintenance and utilization to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain operations, preferably in FMCG, transport, or manufacturing.
- Certification in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain required (Fleet Management/Transport Operations Certification an advantage).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics and dispatch management software.
- Analytical skills for route optimization and cost control.
- Ability to handle pressure and resolve operational challenges.
