Dispatch

About the Role Bachoco USA is seeking a Dispatch professional at our Fort Smith Feed Mill to coordinate feed shipments to growers, communicate orders, and maintain accurate logs and inventories. This on-site role supports our fully integrated operations with a schedule of 8:00 am–4:00 pm.

What You'll Do

• Take calls from growers requesting feed (type, amount, and date needed).
• Maintain logs for each truck, including feed type and delivery location.
• File copies of farm feed invoices.
• Key tickets into the computer system.
• Weigh trucks on arrival.
• Respond to calls on radio or phone from service technicians regarding farm inventories and orders.
• Collect samples from incoming corn trucks.
• Order feed for breeder farms and research inventories on breeder farms.
• Support inventory tracking and order fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience; or equivalent combination.
• Language/Communication: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to present information.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic; compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Physical Demands: Regularly sit; use hands; occasionally stand, walk, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch; may lift up to 25 pounds.
• Other: No supervisory responsibilities; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour with $1 per hour weekly attendance incentive.
• Pay increases at 30- and 90-days; 30-day job shadowing and mentorship program.
