Disinfecting/Sanitizing Laborer

Location: Merrifield, Virginia (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking laborers for a short-term sanitizing project lasting approximately two to three weeks. The project involves the cleaning of Air Handling Units (AHU) in preparation for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing. This role requires individuals who are safety-conscious and capable of working in physically demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Disinfect and sanitize air handler chamber walls, floors, and ceilings using cleaning agents.

• Replace pre-filters and main filters, handling materials exposed to pollen, dust, and debris.

• Work from ladders to access and clean hard-to-reach places.

• Adhere to all safety precautions for a hazardous work area, even with de-energized equipment.

• Work evening shifts, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

• Required Qualifications

• Experience: 0-2 years of experience cleaning in demanding environments or hard-to-reach places.

Skills

• Ability to work from ladders.
• Ability to work in uncomfortable physical positions.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety precautions in hazardous work areas.

Other Requirements:

• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable rubber gloves, safety glasses, and N95 masks, which will be provided.

• Required to wear personal safety and non-slip shoes.
