Job title: Director, Transformation Consulting
About the Role The Director, Transformation Consulting leads large-scale organizational change and guides multiple complex, ambiguous projects. They partner with senior leadership to create strategic solutions, roadmaps, and assessments, and coordinate cross-functional planning for Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s proposed new hospital and clinical collaboration. The Director also mentors a Planning and Consulting team (up to 6 members) and ensures work is coordinated with BI and other groups across the Institute.
What You'll Do
- Drive and manage large-scale organizational change across the Institute.
- Direct multiple institute-wide, highly complex, ambiguous projects and identify opportunities for internal consulting engagements.
- Lead hypothesis-driven problem solving, analytics, and development of business cases for strategic programs.
- Oversee the creation, tracking, and execution of project roadmaps; establish and manage PMO functions including governance, risk, communications, resources, and change management.
- Provide strategic advice on transformation, process optimization, organizational design, and technology integration.
- Coordinate planning with BI and lead Planning and Consulting team; allocate work, monitor progress, and maintain stakeholder relationships; ensure alignment across departments and clinical partners.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record leading large-scale organizational transformations in complex healthcare or similar environments.
- Ability to influence and align C-level stakeholders; strong executive communication and consulting skills.
- Experience directing a Planning and Consulting team (up to 6 members) and coordinating with BI.
- Strong analytical skills: data analysis, business case development, hypothesis-driven problem solving.
- Cross-functional collaboration, project management, and change management expertise.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $214,900 - $242,000 per year. Hybrid work arrangement: 2-3 days onsite/week. Location: 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215.
