About the Role Director of Transactions will support the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and VP of Transactions in executing business development activities, focusing on valuation analysis, deal process management, and communicating updates to senior management and the Board. You will lead and direct financial modeling to provide analytical rigor for transaction decisions, and serve as the hub for cross-functional due diligence, term sheets, and definitive agreements. The role offers exposure to high-profile biopharma deals and collaboration with senior leadership. What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day support on transaction workstreams under the leadership of the Vice President Transactions.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate companies, assets, partnerships, and transaction structures across multiple scenarios.
- Conduct valuation and sensitivity analyses to inform deal strategy and recommendations.
- Manage specific workstreams within the transaction process, including due diligence coordination and information gathering.
- Draft high-quality presentations and supporting materials for internal stakeholders, including management committee and board reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate inputs into financial models and transaction analyses.
- Support the preparation of business cases and transaction documentation with analytical and strategic insights.
- Partner with external advisors (bankers, consultants, lawyers) to ensure robust execution of deal processes. What We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of post-MBA experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting, ideally with exposure to healthcare or biopharma transactions.
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of company and asset-level economics.
- Solid understanding of transaction processes, including due diligence, process management, deal structuring, and negotiation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analyses clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a collaborative mindset. Compensation & Benefits We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with a dynamic and collaborative work environment designed to support both professional growth and day‑to‑day engagement. Base compensation for this position ranges from $230,000 to $250,000. Actual base compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge, demonstrated skills and geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify base salary ranges at any time. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Lakefront Biotherapeutics’ performance bonus plan.
