About this role

About the Role The Director, Store Development and Planning (SDP) leads Panerai North America's store development across boutiques and Shop in Shops, guiding store planning from concept to opening. This role partners with internal design teams, consultants, architects, contractors and business partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality construction, while also supporting ongoing store maintenance and visual merchandising as needed. What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end store development for Panerai North America, from location scouting through turnover.
  • Manage pre-construction activities: selecting architects/consultants, bidding, ensuring design intent and US codes, monitoring drawings and permits, and identifying savings.
  • Oversee construction: manage multiple projects (approx. 5 commercial North American projects per year), coordinate with internal teams, vendors and external partners.
  • Admin: cost tracking, processing invoices with AP, procuring owner-supplied items.
  • Repair and maintenance: work with stores, HQ and vendors to fix issues and ensure boutiques and corners are in good order.
  • VM support as needed for installations and pop-ups.
  • other projects as needed including pop-ups in the market. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in store design, construction management, or related field.
  • Experience working with architects, general contractors, millworkers, and material suppliers.
  • Luxury goods industry experience preferred.
  • Deep expertise in construction materials, methods, timelines, costs, and budgets; ability to read architectural drawings; knowledge of building codes, permitting, ADA, energy and related compliance regulations; bid analysis and cost negotiation with architectural firms, general contractors, quantity surveyors, and construction management firms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% and demonstrate agility and flexibility. Nice to Have
