About the Role Aecon is seeking a Director, Steam Generator to lead Aecon's support for Steam Generator Team LLC in the execution of Steam Generator Replacement (SGR) projects across the US lifecycle—from early business development and pursuit through detailed planning and execution. This role requires a blend of strong commercial insight and exceptional leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, with quality, and profitably. What You'll Do
- Provide leadership for Aecon support of Steam Generator Team in the development of a comprehensive US Steam Generator Replacement (SGR) market strategy.
- Work with Steam Generator Team and JV partner to build strategic partnerships to strengthen market position and delivery capability.
- Oversee Aecon's input into bid preparation, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations to secure profitable contracts, and review overall Steam Generator Team estimates and bids.
- Act in concert with Steam Generator Team to serve as an executive liaison for utilities and nuclear plant owners.
- Participate in Steam Generator Team client relations initiatives to develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with client leadership teams.
- Ensure proactive communication and issue resolution to support client satisfaction and confidence.
- Represent Aecon and Steam Generator Team at industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings, as needed.
- Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams needed to support execution of Steam Generator Team scope of work across engineering, construction, and commercial functions.

- Strong commercial insight and strategic thinking with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional leadership and the ability to manage cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, and commercial disciplines.
- Experience with Steam Generator Replacement projects or nuclear-sector programs; comfort operating in regulated environments.
- Ability to develop market strategies and pursue opportunities, including bid development and competitive pricing.
- Experience building strategic partnerships and coordinating with JV partners, utilities, and nuclear plant owners.
- Strong client-relations, negotiation, and communications skills; capable of representing the team at industry forums and stakeholder meetings. Compensation & Benefits
