Job title: Director, Solutions Management

About the Role Solutions Management professionals work with clients (external and internal) and use their knowledge of product, industry, and technology to design holistic solutions to meet business and technical needs across individual customers, customer segments, and regions. They include product technical experts during the sales process that provide pre-sales technical advice and technical demos to customers about Visa products. They work hands-on with customers to demonstrate product integrations and help optimize use and performance of Visa’s solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to design and deliver holistic solutions that address business and technical needs.
  • Provide pre-sales technical advice and product demonstrations to customers, showcasing Visa product capabilities and integrations.
  • Work directly with customers to support product integration and optimize the use and performance of Visa’s solutions.
  • Leverage industry and technology knowledge to inform solution design and client support.
  • Support the sales process by acting as a product technical expert and advisor.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with days in office as determined by the hiring manager (minimum 3 days in office).

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 8 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or at least 3 years with a PhD.
  • Strong experience with Core Banking products, particularly within the U.S. market.
  • Experience in product development methodologies and transforming ideas into detailed requirements for technology teams.
  • Experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization; experience with Agile development and project management.
  • Experience in systems thinking and understanding of software development processes, including API-driven solutions and cloud technology.
  • Ability to engage credibly with engineers, understand system architecture and APIs, and translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes.
  • Experience in fast-paced plan execution and the ability to operate independently and within a matrix/team environment.
  • Experience interacting with external partners, including vendors, clients, and government regulators.

  • Digital fluency including familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).

Nice to Have

  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8–10 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years with a PhD.
  • Experience with external partners and regulators in Payments/Banking ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Visa products and broader payments technology landscape.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and cloud-native architectures.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: USD 173,100 - 276,800 per year, may include sales incentive payments where applicable.
  • May be eligible for bonus and equity.
