The Opportunity

An emerging biotechnology company is looking for an oncology-focused Project Lead / Project Manager, Clinical Operations to join its team in Singapore.

The immediate priority is to appoint someone who can take operational ownership of an oncology development program and drive it forward, coordinating across CROs, CDMOs, investigators and other key external stakeholders as the asset progresses towards and through clinical development.

This is an important early hire within a growing organisation, offering meaningful ownership of the program rather than a purely supporting or administrative project management remit.

Key Responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of an oncology development program and drive the asset forward.

• Coordinate activities across CROs, CDMOs, investigators and other external development partners.

• Drive project plans, timelines, priorities, dependencies and key deliverables as the asset progresses towards and through clinical development.

• Maintain alignment between internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Identify and proactively manage program risks, operational challenges and critical dependencies.

• Ensure multiple workstreams remain coordinated and progress against agreed priorities.

• Support the transition of the asset from the pre-IND stage into clinical development.

• Take a high degree of ownership and accountability for delivery, with the breadth of responsibility reflecting experience and seniority.

• Contribute within a lean, entrepreneurial and developing biotech environment as the organisation and its development portfolio grow.

• Candidate Profile

• Strong Clinical Operations experience with meaningful oncology experience.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating CROs, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders within clinical development programs.

• Comfortable working across external partners including CROs, CDMOs and investigators.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive a clinical program forward operationally, rather than simply tracking activities and timelines.

• Strong project management, stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical or CRO environments.

• Comfortable operating autonomously within an early-stage, evolving organisation where structures and processes are still being established.
