About this role
Director, Power Train Technical Business Development leads Vertiv’s pre-sales technical engagement for power infrastructure solutions across global strategic Hyperscale, Neo-Cloud, and MTDC customers. This is a critical role bridging deep electrical power domain expertise with customer-facing influence to position Vertiv as the basis of design for power architectures in mission-critical data center environments. The scope encompasses the full power train — from utility entrance through medium voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS systems (AC and DC), static transfer switches, power distribution (PDUs, RPPs, busway), and battery/energy storage systems. As data center campuses scale to hundreds of megawatts and AI workloads demand unprecedented power density and reliability, this role is at the forefront of defining how Vertiv addresses next-generation power challenges.
