INVISTA is seeking a Director, Point-of-View (POV) SBD to join our team. The Director, POV SBD will play a critical role in shaping INVISTA's long-term growth strategy by developing and maintaining market points of view, leading economic and financial analysis, and driving strategic initiatives from evaluation through execution. This role serves as a strategic advisor to business and executive leadership, helping inform decisions regarding growth investments, portfolio optimization, partnerships, acquisitions, and other value-creating opportunities.

The successful candidate will combine market insight, economic thinking, and sound business judgment to identify opportunities and risks across the value chain. This individual will work closely with commercial, operations, finance, and business leaders to develop strategic recommendations and align resources to capture long-term value. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, adaptability, and the ability to influence decisions across a complex organization.

What You Will Do

• Develop and Maintain Strategic Market POVs
• Develop, maintain, and continuously refine INVISTA's long-term market and industry point of view by leveraging market fundamentals, competitive intelligence, customer insights, economic analysis, strategic scenario planning, and Koch's knowledge networks
• Identify emerging trends, market shifts, competitive threats, and growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations that inform business strategy and investment decisions
• Lead Strategic Planning and Business Development
• Partner with business and senior leadership teams to develop and execute strategies aligned with INVISTA's long-term objectives
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence capital allocation, portfolio decisions, and growth priorities through robust business case development and strategic analysis
• Conduct Economic Analysis and Financial Modeling
• Perform financial modeling, cash flow analysis, valuation assessments, and scenario planning to evaluate capital projects, strategic investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other growth opportunities
• Develop data-driven recommendations that balance risk, return, and strategic fit, while supporting due diligence, transaction structuring, and value creation assessments
• Serve as a Strategic Advisor and Organizational Leader
• Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to business and executive leaders on significant business opportunities, challenges, and long-term value creation strategies
• Build organizational alignment around strategic priorities, foster strong internal and external partnerships, and enhance INVISTA's strategic and market capabilities
• Lead, develop, and mentor team members while helping build organizational capability in strategy, business development, economic thinking, and decision-making

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, corporate development, investment analysis, or a related field
• Experience within chemicals, petrochemicals, polymers, industrial manufacturing, materials, or related industries and/or prior experience with a Koch company
• Experience performing financial modeling, valuation, economic analysis, and cash flow modeling for strategic initiatives or capital projects
• Experience as a strategic advisor with a focus on M&A, divestitures, and joint collaborations
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
